This continues the theme of focusing on the now, not the later. Keeping in mind that we can only deal with the present moment, not the past and not the future.
Delay in making decisions, procrastination, and other forms of avoidance all lead to inaction many times crippling a project.
Progress only happens when action is taken. You can't dream or wish your way to success, you must take action. Setting an intention, visualizing an outcome may be the first part of a project, but it's just the beginning. If you make the choice of inaction you are at the mercy of what befalls you. You are making a proclamation that you are willing to take whatever comes regardless of what you truly want and seek. As individuals we set goals and take action to achieve them. What about teams?
When a team takes steps to establish shared goals they set a context in which the team members work. When the team understands the broader view, the longer term goals, their decisions are more likely to be in alignment. They can act with confidence.
Making decisions and acting within a context is what self-organization is all about. Set the context, set some boundaries and let the get the work completed.
Will there be another card or will the next be the last.
